Although Anahata Integrated Yoga Teacher Training is a 200 hour program certified
by the National Yoga Alliance to train yoga teachers, its first graduating class found many creative
applications in a wide variety of professional settings. Studying the eight-fold path of yoga fosters
the development of ethical practices and observances, as well as concentration, meditation, withdrawal
of the senses from everyday life, self reflection, yoga poses, and breath work. This exploration of
the eight-fold path will lead one to a deeper self understanding and connection of mind, body, and
spirit. Through personal goal setting, independent study, experiential activities, group process,
and ongoing readings, students develop meaningful applications of the eight-fold path to both their
personal and professional lives.
